My Father (Descriptive Text)

The most important person in my life is my father. He has been the example for me to develop my social and professional life. In my social life, he shows me how to be with people and what behavior I need to have in different situations. For example, I talk or behave differently with a director of a company than with a worker. My father could not study in school, but he has a lot of experience. He is a good worker with high responsibilities in his work. He also taught me that the most important responsibilities are to my work and my family.
My father was a very good baseball player when he was young. He likes all sports, and he taught me to play sports with a clear mind. My father is an average person. However, he has been the biggest person for me.

My Thrifty Mother (Descriptive Text)

My mother is very thrifty, and that is very important for our family happiness. If my mother wants to buy something, usually she checks the prices from several places before she decides where she wants to shop. Sometimes the difference of the price is not too much, but she likes to spend her time bargaining. By doing that, my mother saves some of her daily expenses.
On special occasions, like birthdays, my mother can make a special party without asking for additional money from my father. When my father is not at home, my mother can solve unexpected problems by using her savings from daily expenses. For example, sometimes our family needs extra money to go to the doctor or to buy medicine. My mother’s thrifty ways are helpful for all of my family.

My Hometown (Descriptive Text)

Alexandria is the second biggest city in my country, Egypt, and I live in this city. It is a beautiful city, and people there are very kind and polite. Tourists like to visit my city because it is on the sea. When I walk down the Kornash, the largest street, I see the beautiful blue sea and sky, and the beautiful green grass and trees. In the spring, the flowers grow in many colors: yellow, red, and blue. The most beautiful scene is the white birds. In the winter, a very big flock of birds migrates to this place. I watch them while they skillfully fish from the sea. The birds watch the fish, and they wait patiently for a long time. When the fish come to the surface, they fly quickly and catch them. In the fall, the city looks like a very old man because the leaves of the trees fall from the trees. That is my city, and I think it is the most beautiful city in the world.

My Dude’s assignment

Dear friend,

How is your life doing? I hope you will always be fine there. By the way, where are you going this weekend? Do you have a plan? Actually if you don’t have a plan, I want you to come with me to my parents’ house in Bogor. If you don’t mind, I want to introduce you with my family there. What do you think about that? Don’t worry it will be nice weekend for sure.

I have waited for long time to spend my weekend in Bogor. It has been so long time I don’t go there. I miss my lovely family so much. I want to see them for sure. Well let me tell you about my parents today. Do you know how much I miss them? They are always in my mind. Even I can imagine their physical shape as well.

My mother with her chubby cheeks always smiles at me. Her big eyes are very nice, round and brown. I like to see her big eyes when she laughs because they will be narrow like Japanese eyes. She will try to untidy my hair though she is shorter than me when I don’t tidy my bed before going to school. I miss to hug her fat body. It makes me feel warm and happy. As a moslem, my mother always wears her veil. I miss to see her with her favorite brown veil. She is really beautiful.

I miss my father as well. His strong tall body always carries me on his back when I was little kid. I like to pinch his pointed nose when I want to play with him. Actually my father also has beautiful eyes like my mother, but he has to wear his glasses everyday because he has trouble with his eyes since he was child. My mother always says that we are like twins. Straight short hair with oval face and beauty spot on our stomachs are the similarity. He is the most handsome father for me.

My parents are the best ever parents in the world. I love them so much. My biggest ambition is I want to make them be proud of having a son like me. I want to make them happy. Hmm.. I don’t know how much I miss them. I can’t wait to see them.. I hope you can join with me. I am sure you will enjoy there because I have a large garden with a lot of fruits and a big fish pond. We can spend our time by fishing there. I want you to reply this letter as soon as possible so I can tell you where we should meet. Don’t try to refuse it OK! This is a good opportunity to miss. See you.

Your friend,

Dude
